Thank god NBC always plays It’s a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve, since after The Nightmare Before Christmas and A Muppet Christmas Carol, our holiday film picks get a bit thin. Netflix’s weirdly abridged version of Miracle on 34th Street just doesn’t satisfy, and I hate piecing together the fragments of the Alastair Sim Christmas Carol on You Tube.
